We provide comprehensive training for students, covering all the essential aspects of dispatch and trucking from the ground up.Our program begins with an introduction to the trucking industry, including its various roles such as drivers, dispatchers, and brokers, as well as different types of trucking, like flatbed, reefer, and dry van.We ensure our students understand the core responsibilities of a dispatcher, such as coordinating between drivers, customers, and companies.
The program begins with instructing students on how to book loads from brokers, emphasizing effective communication and negotiation skills to secure freight at competitive rates. Students also learn the critical skill of assigning these loads to drivers based on their availability. Additionally, the program covers E-log rules and compliance, teaching students how to monitor and ensure that drivers adhere to federal Hours of Service (HOS) regulations using electronic logging devices (ELDs). The curriculum also includes city dispatch techniques, where students learn about local load planning and the need for real-time communication with drivers due to tighter time constraints. This is complemented by training in tracking and tracing, equipping students with the skills to monitor the location and status of loads to ensure timely deliveries.
We offer 100% practical training on all the essential software used in the trucking industry, including Load Boards, Border Crossing Software, and various 3PL systems. Our program ensures that students have unlimited access to these tools, allowing them to practice and become fluent in their use. This hands-on training approach prepares students to apply their knowledge effectively in real-world situations, equipping them with the skills necessary to excel in the trucking and logistics sectors. By the end of the program, students will be fully prepared to navigate the software they need confidently and efficiently.
